MENTAL CHAINS
A lot of people today are victims of mental chains. Such people are Intellectual slaves. They cannot think clearly. Their mental lives are under serious siege. The devil has introduced lots of mental and psychosomatic problems into their lives to make their lives miserable and suffer bondage mentally. When you engage such people in conversations, they are always absent-minded. There is total emptiness during academic exercises, and planning and carrying out plans are difficult for them. The devil has put to zero the ability of such people to carry out meaningful analysis. There is mental blackout. Such people are demented and there are traces of insanity in their reasoning.
I have heard stories of academic professors who are mental wrecks. This reminds me of the sad story of the “Lion of Judah,” a mad man I knew when I was growing up. in spite of his insanity, if you asked him any question relating to Trigonometry or Algebra, he could give you a brilliant answer. If you threw any question to him on history or classics he would answer them like a genius.
If you wanted to know anything about the complex area of any science subject, Lion of Judah had a ready, correct answer. To extract the answers from him, you needed to offer him a plate of food. Whenever he was done with the answers, he would pour the food on the ground, mix it with sand and began to eat. He was brilliant but a mental waste. He would probably have become a professor of international repute but mental chains ruined his destiny. If you are being harrassed by wild or serious mental chains, you need to pray until the mental chains are broken and your mind is completely set free. Be persistent in your prayers. Give yourself no rest until you are free and free indeed.
Lam 2:18-19 says:
Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease. Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.
